Good move: SAP SD to CRM?
I am a certified SD consultant, but I'd like to take up CRM to upgrade my skills. Is that a good move?

Definitely. I recommend the SD-to-CRM transition all the time. There are areas within each, like service management, for example, where SAP is only developing the functionality on the CRM side from this point forward. That's a good enough reason to make the switch. Go where SAP goes, and you are usually better off.
