I am able to get a list of BAPIs using the SAP .NET Connector using the built-in proxy provided by the SAP Connector. Now, what I need to do is to be able to execute the list of BAPIs that I got back. The problem I am running into is that if I use the proxy to generate the code, each component/piece of code generated for each BAPI is specific to that particular BAPI (table names, field names and BAPI name hard coded). So, is there any way that I could write a generic code to run the BAPIs and extract the data from them, without using the SAP .NET Connector's Proxy? Even though I would like for the solution to be .NET compliant and possibly in C#, I would appreciate if you could also list the different options I have to accomplish the same.
The SAP .NET Connector does not support generic programming. The best alternative is to use the SAP Java Connector (JCo), available for Windows and other platforms. Here you use a generic JCO.Function object which allows you to accomplish your goal.
