Error due to lack of memory

We are in need some urgent help and suggestions. We're in the process of upgrading our SBX system from release 3.1 to 4.7, currently at STARTR3_NBAS phase. The upgrade assistant has stopped with a system error indicating that SAP could not be started. Our upgrade process has halted due to this error. We've already researched OSS but could not find any relevant information that has not been implemented.

We are upgrading from 31I_COM latest kernel patch on Windows 2000/SQLserver 7.0 to R3Enterprise on Windows 2000/SQLServer...

2000 upto SPs - BASIS- 46, ABA-41, HR-35, APPL-22, using the documentation & CDs for R3E470x110 SR1.

Any help will greatly appreciated.

The SAP system is unable to start because there is not enough continuous free space in memory. Set the following parameters in the instance profile and start again:

em/reserve_mapping_window = on

and

em/address_space_MB = 250

See OSS NOTE 373326 for more information.
