Does R/3 Enterprise support Windows 2003 32-bit?

Do R/3 Enterprise versions 4.6 and 4.7 support Windows 2003 32-bit Enterprise Edition Server? If so, then should it be installed as a stand-alone server or as a member of a domain? Do you recommend to install it on a DC?
Yes, both of them are supported on Windows 2003 32-bit. The server does not need to be a member of a domain, but I would strongly recommend it. Especially if SAP needs, for example, to access printers which are on a print server in the already existing domain. It will make system administration much easier if it is integrated in the existing domain.

SAP advises against installing SAP on a domain controller for obvious performance reasons.
