Our company has been sold but we will have some users logging onto both systems until a certain period of time. The client #, system message (using SE61) is exactly the same on both systems. I there any way we can do something on the logon screen to clearly distinguish between the systems?

Certainly. You can implement SAP Note 205487 (User-defined text on SAPGui logon screen). If you have SAP R/3 4.6x you can also change the background image that appears after a sucessuful logon. I can e-mail the documentation on how to do this. Just send me an e-mail.
