Disable multiple logins with a parameter in SAP 4.6C

We are using SAP 4.6C on Win2k. We just upgraded to Win2k and I have a problem regarding multiple logins.

I disabled multiple logins by setting a parameter: "login/disable_multi_gui_login = 1". Still, four or five users...

can connect as one user ID. How this possible? Please guide me -- I want to disable this because of performance.

Have a look at OSS NOTE 618068. It lists corrections for the login dialog box. It also contains a correction for "login/disable_multi_gui_login = 1" -- multiple logins can be performed if several occur at the same time.
