Deriving activity groups from a composite group

Is there anyway to use a composite activity group as the source of a derived activity group? The system (4.6B) seems to allow this, however because there is no access to the authorizations of the composite activity group, then the 'adjust derived activity groups option' cannot be used, and therefore derived activity groups cannot be kept in sync.

I don't think so. If there was, it would probably be a bad idea, since composites AG are the sum of Menus from their collective single roles; changes to the single roles, would have to be replicated to the composite and then to the composite's derived; which would create maintenance nightmares in the long run. Remember, whenever you derive a role from another, only the MENU of the parent role is replicated; authorization settings from the parent role are not.
