Debugging a background program

Go to SM51. Choose the server in which your background program is running. Place the cursor on the line which shows your program. Choose the menu option 'Debugging'. Depending on your version the menu option is in different places. If you have the correct authorizations, a window will pop up, with your program in the debugger.
