Creating roles in Workplace

My question is with regards to creating roles. If you are creating roles in Workplace where CUA is active and the Workplace server is the "central system", do you create roles on the Workplace server and then "push" them to the component systems? Once this is done do you then logon to the component system to complete the Authorizations? I cannot figure out how to create the Authorizations on the Workplace server and "push" them over to the component system.

Composite roles can be created at CUA to consists roles from component systems. Profiles/Auth for each system has to be created at each system.
