Creating a Web report in a pre-designed format

Is it possible to create a BW Web report that is similar to a BEx workbook --where several queries can be run in the background but the result is shown in a pre-designed format?

This is certainly possible. By using BW's Web Application Designer (WAD) you can layout your Web page with several queries positioned wherever you want them. You can also customize the color schemes and general parameters using cascading style sheets.

By having the ability to manipulate the HTML code directly in the WAD interface, you can add images, and any pre-formatted additions you desire. You then schedule your Web template via the reporting agent tool and voila! Not only do you have a set design -- but you also have a precalculated Web template that loads instantly.
