Copying custom development objects during implementation of an SAP ECC 6.0 system

We are currently on an SAP 3.1I system with an Informix database. We are going to do a new implementation of an SAP ECC 6.0 system with an Oracle database. What are the options to copy all of our custom development objects (Data Dictionary, Screens, Functions Groups, Programs, etc.) to the new ECC 6.0 system without doing a client copy?

We are currently on an SAP 3.1I system with an Informix database. We are going to do a new implementation of an SAP ECC 6.0 system with an Oracle database (not doing an upgrade).

The 3.1I system will be treated as a legacy system.

What are the options to copy all of our custom development objects (Data Dictionary, Screens, Functions Groups, Programs, etc.) to the new ECC 6.0 system without doing a client copy? We do not want to copy the configuration; SAP would need to certify a client copy as it goes between different databases.

To be honest, I do not know and I have never tried. But I would give it a try. In theory, you should not transport between releases. But as these are only customer developed objects, what can go wrong? Dictionary objects will have to be verified and probably corrected. In a worst case scenario, you will have to create those manually. As for the screens, functions, and programs, they should go through. I have never tried this but I do not see why it would not work.
