Comparing repository objects

I'd like to run a check report on one system comparing R3TR repository objects on that local system with an other RFC System. Is there a list in which I could check if "RFC Function Modules" already exists to compare two objects like in SE39 Splicreeneditor? I need Fuctions/transactions that can be either called by function call or transaction call. In case of a transaction call the Itabmsg should return a value if the two objects are equal.

RFC System. Is there a list in which I could check if "RFC Function Modules" already exists to compare two objects like in SE39 Splicreeneditor? I assume that you just want to see if they are the same or not, and that you are not interested in the differences themselves. For ABAP source code, you will use the READ REPORT command. For SAPScript you will use the function module 'READ_FORM'. These will read the relevant objects into internal tables. It is then a simple matter to compare the internal tables. If they are not identical, then the objects are different.

To make these callable by functions or transaction, you will have to wrap the code in a function module, or attach a transaction to it in the normal manner. A tip for RFC. If you want to call a sap supplied FM remotely, but it isn't RFC enabled, then all you have to do is create your own RFC enabled FM, with the same interface, and call the sap supplied FM from that.
