With organizational changes, our customers are looking to gain tighter control over Requisitioning, Releasing & Reporting. The current MM release strat. and authorizations keep things at the plant level and we'd like to move it down to the Cost Center level. Other than creat/maint unique AGs covering the CCtrs managed by each Release/Reporting.
Are there any options you can provide for us? Our current thinking is to look at tying security into our HR-PD side or the perhaps the CCtr hierarchy?

Oh boy. I have probably heard of more situations trying to clean up CC driven security then I care to remember. If you are determined to use it and clearly it would be the best option given the scenario you mentioned. I would strongly encourage you to work with your Finance group to redefine the CC hierarchy to support it. That will be your best bet. This was first published in March 2004
