Q

Can I read the SAP text base directly at database level?

I want to extract text-based information from SAP directly at the Oracle level. I dont know how should go about it. Can you offer some suggestions?

Sorry, the SAP text base is a proprietary database format, which is difficult to decode. I recommend building your own RFC function within R/3 that reads the required texts using function READ_TEXT . This function can be called from your operating system via RFC without logging on to SAP via the SAPGUI.
