We have implemented CRM 3.1 Mobile sales. When an opportunity is created in CRM Mobile, the person responsible is not automatically populated in the mobile client. However when the opportunity is created online and synchronized to mobile, the person responsible is populated automatically. Do you know why this would be the case?

Please check if the employee record is assigned with sales area in MSY. If not, assign the employee to the sales organizational unit under the relevant position and then initiate the download of the Organizational data to Mobile sales.
