Are Java BAPI Proxy classes obsolete?

I am trying to use Java BAPI Proxy classes, but I'm having some problems with them. Is this technology obsolete now?

Are you talking about the very ancient SAP classes, generated by SAP Automation? Yes, they have been obsolete for a while. If you are interested in a more modern alternative, send me an email.
