This is a question regarding the Microsoft Management Console that is used
to start/stop SAP in version 4.6.
Does anyone know how to add several systems from different servers to one
console?
I tried changing the console settings and adding the other systems and
hostname in the form:
(hostname)

It seems to accept this input yet will always only show the locally installed system.
You need to copy these files into your PC's winntsystem32 directory:
-librfc32.dll
-sapmmc.dll
-sapstartsrv.exe
They are on the R/3 Kernel CD.
Then, register the DCOM typelibrary by typing: sapstartsrv -t -q
Finally register the sapmmc.dll as follows: regsvr32 /s sapmmc.dll
Now you are ready to launch the MMC and add the SAP R/3 Snap-in and manage
all your SAP servers.
This is topic is covered in my book "SAP Basis Administration ... A
Step-by-Step Guide to Practical Daily Tasks and Activities", chapter 13, SAP
R/3 Remote Management. A script called "SAP-r3-mmc-snapin.bat" is also
included on the CD-ROM.
