How do I add a deduction number in an absence quota? Normally the deduction is updated automatically by the appropriate absence type. Is there way we can add the deduction number by writing a PCR?

Technically, there is no reason why a custom PCR could not be developed to achieve this purpose. A second option, pending your requirements, is using the CATS method, which customization may not be required.
