How can we accommodate an absence in payroll as per the wage types?The reason is: we have full paid sick leave, but we want to deduct some allowances if the sick leave is more than 5 days per year.
Assuming you are using Time Evaluation then the schema needs to determine if the employee has taken more than 5 sick days. If they are, then the alternative sick wage type will be used (where this WT is configured for those additional allowance deductions).
If time evaluation is not being used, you will need to modify schema TC00, which is in U000. Utilize the "Time Wage Type Selection Rule" T510S to determine which sick leave WT to use for the employee based on number of sick days they have already taken.
